Representatives from the United States Mint, the United States Marine Corps (USMC), and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation gathered on July 17, 2024, at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia, the site near Marine Corps Base Quantico, to reveal the designs for the 2025 United States Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Program. These designs will be featured on a $5 gold coin, a $1 silver coin, and a half-dollar clad coin, as authorized by Public Law 118-10, with the aim to support the mission of the Marine Corps Heritage Center.
